So I've officially started my diploma work - series of 20 or more finished paintings on a subject chosen by me to be shown on our final exhibition May 2010 - and so far so good. In theory I'd have the whole year to paint them so there'd be no rush. I just happened to go and fix myself an internship for next fall, which will seriously dig into my painting time. So I've agreed with my teachers to have 15 paintings ready before I start the internship.
I'm a bit intimidated by the schedule I've set for myself, but if you want something done, give it to someone who's busy, eh?
Also got some postcards done together with the other students for our exhibition that just ended yesterday. They sold a lot better then I was expecting, seems like I'll be recouping the cost of having them printed!
Now I really need to get back to painting.

When life holds nothing sacred
When the loveless turn to loathe
We'll witness this final threatened pose

Tired of injustice
Tired of the schemes
Life is disgusted
So what does it mean? damn it!
Kicking me down
I got to get up
As jacked as it sounds
The whole system sucks, damn it!

Gone from our home
But his legend remains with us
May he prosper wherever he travels
May he grant to those around him the joy he granted in us
May any evils where he may be tremble under his spirit
